Kabir quote:
“All know that the drop merges into the ocean, but few know that the ocean merges into the drop”.
jeux d’eau.
jeux d’eau ;
dégel du printemps :
gouttes d’eau,
parfois en cascades …
beau à regarder.
et pourtant fascinant de voir
comment ces jeux d’eau
peuvent à la fois
donner une nouvelle vie,
et nous soutenir …
mais quelque fois aussi détruire
beaucoup de ce qui est
naturel et artificiel …

giochi d’acqua.
giochi d’acqua;
disgelo primaverile:
gocce d’acqua,
a volte a cascata …
bello da vedere.
eppure affascinante vedere
come questi giochi d’acqua
possano sia dare nuova vita,
sia sostenerci … ma a volte
anche distruggere molto di
ciò che è naturale e
artificiale …

Sea lines.
The ebbing of foam and
spray from sea lines
reveals glittering calico
pebbles and shell fragments
upon coastal sands.
During the interim of
drought and abandonment,
the brilliance of this
treasure trove is dulled
by disclosure and desiccation.
There they remain,
rather indistinguishable
from the multitudes,
and dream of baptism
by tidal reclamation.

Linee di mare.
Il riflusso della schiuma
e degli spruzzi dalle linee
del mare rivela ciottoli
di calico scintillanti e
frammenti di conchiglie
sulle sabbie costiere.
Durante il periodo di siccità
e di abbandono,
la brillantezza di questo tesoro
si spegne a causa dell’abbandono
e del disseccamento.
Rimangono lì,
piuttosto indistinguibili
dalla moltitudine,
e sognano il battesimo
con la bonifica
delle maree.
