Keeping up appearances 🇺🇸
There once was an influencer named Claire,
Who lounged in first class everywhere.
With champagne and brand deals,
And “authentic” five-star meals—
(Shot thrice, then returned with a glare).
Her feed showed Maldives every week,
With captions all breezy and chic.
But rent was overdue,
And her “Paris” view?
A green screen and lighting technique.
She’d boast of her skincare “own line,”
While sipping on boxed rosé wine.
Brands queued at her door—
At least, that’s the lore—
In emails she drafted herself, quite divine.
No boyfriend would last very long,
They’d sense something subtly wrong:
Between filters and tears,
And tax-dodging fears,
Her life was a well-curated con.
So here’s to dear Claire and her flair—
For living a life debonair.
If illusion’s an art,
She’s mastered her part…
While chaos waits just off-camera there.

Mantendo as aparências 🇧🇷
Havia uma influencer, a Ju,
Que vivia “em Dubai” e em “Peru”.
Com champanhe e publi,
E jantar digno de filme—
(Tirava a foto e devolvia o menu).
Postava viagem toda semana,
Vida leve, chique, soberana.
Mas o aluguel atrasado,
E o “hotel estrelado”?
Era filtro e parede bacana.
Dizia ter marca pra lançar,
Com “empresas loucas pra fechar”.
Mas o e-mail enviado
Era autoendereçado—
Ela mesma a se convidar.
Namoro não ia pra frente,
Algo parecia ausente.
Entre crise e aparência,
E zero consistência,
Virou especialista em “presente”.
Então brindemos à Ju, afinal—
Sua vida é cinema virtual.
Se enganar é talento,
Ela é 100% nesse intento…
Mas o caos tá chegando, pontual.

GLAMOUR.
Walking the fine line
between glamour and
sobriety … taking care not
to fall between the
cracks … not to believe
in the darkness of the
daylight alone,
away from the glitter
of champagne cocktail nights,
designer jackets,
tastefully-torn jeans
and uncomfortable shoes.
The music must not stop;
shine the camera on me
just a little bit longer. See:
I am setting the pace,
flaunting a fashion statement.
Synthetic is but a natural
reaction against reality.
Just give me my moment.
A self-made idol;
cliches spat out and
regurgitated.
Yes, I could be a star.
What … my name?
I am just part of the
rhythm, the lights are
my melody against the
night of glittering glam.
A torn off piece of
average sparkling
against the annals of
history and the
forgettable.
