Dr. Steven Best is a former Associate Professor of Humanities and Philosophy at the University of Texas, El Paso and is now retired. He is an award-winning writer, noted international speaker, public intellectual, and seasoned activist with over 30 years in diverse political movements. Best has published 13 books and over 200 articles and reviews that have been translated into numerous languages. For his uncompromising advocacy of “total liberation” (humans, animals, and the earth), he has been denounced before Congress and banned from the UK for life.
