What a work of art your radio show is: entertaining, informative, and fantastic research and production! You made this old man very happy, and it was as if I was back there — all over again. There are so many artists, writers and musicians who were before the www, digital publishing, Spotify etc. and who are now almost forgotten. Thank you for helping to bring them back and to educate new and future generations about our heritage. And East Village Radio is the perfect forum, given that the East Village introduced so many iconic artists. Btw, do you remember Millie Jackson?

Thanks again for all your kind words – it means a lot to have my work appreciated and understood.
Of course I remember Millie Jackson! I’m sure one of her early singles will make an appearance on 60 Degrees very soon 😉

I look forward to that. Such a great and fearless performer. And her classical music debut was shocking and hilarious for me as a young classical pianist in NYC: «Phuck U Symphony». Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Redd Foxx, Moms Mabley, Millie Jackson … helped us all to get over ourselves.
